Taking Your Pet to Holiday Functions

If you're like most people, your pet is as big of a part of your family as your children and spouse. You can make short time training your pet by taking him out in a carrier such as an over the shoulder carrier. Bring along some treats and talk soothingly to your pet and when he remains calm, reward him with a treat. He will quickly learn that being calm brings great rewards and many pets wind up jumping into their carriers and look forward to going out with their owners.
